An open letter

Dear Bhakt!

What would your fate be post BJP govt's exit? 

Echoing PM Modiji, “You have been identified by your clothes,” so, as per actress-turned-parliamentarian Jaya Bachchan’s suggestion, would you be “lynched” or would you witness what I did?

I wonder if you too would face cyber-attacks & be trolled? Would your phone be tapped & residence bugged? Would Whats-app be as active as it is now? Would escorts be hired for the humping job? Or would you be subjected to Love Jihad?

Would you be fed halwa or be given spiked food at alumni meets? Would you be publicly shamed, or witness some form of mumbo jumbo & hypnotism? 

Would you be alienated by your family, friends, & colleagues? Would a friend, who safe-keeps keys to your vacant flat, spot a freshly used condom at its premises? 

Would your statements be recorded & used against you in form & action? Would MeToo be revived & what you did decades ago or at school be dug up. Perhaps, an argument with your in-laws be used as an excuse.

Would cars steer off lanes & come dangerously close? 

Finally, would you be called an anti-national?

After-all, history tends to repeat itself. Not to forget your allies, including the trusted ones, are away.
