Does CAA pose a threat to national security?

Amidst all this hoopla around CAA, NRC and NPR, let me just briefly point out something that has been sidestepped or overlooked so far. It is that our Intel Agencies had warned the government against CAA, then CAB.

Let me quote from a newspaper article. "...our only concern has been that the agencies who are inimical to us should not have a legal framework within which they can exploit our situation and infiltrate their own people into our own country. That is a matter of great concern for us," the R&AW official was quoted as saying in the panel report placed in Parliament in January, 2019.

So what has the BJP government done? They have effectively opened a window within the security parameters of our nation to our neighbours.

And this isn't the first time, they have done such a thing. Let's not forget - The Electoral Bonds - floated by the government in power. In reality it is akin to #hawala, within the legal framework. And they did it despite being warned against by the RBI.

What is this government up to?  Your guess is as good as mine.

Shaheen Bagh infant’s death - a talking point for news channels

I wonder what would the Bhakts call the protesting parents of the infant, who died because of bitter cold.

Would they be called anti-national or would they be termed Urban Naxals? After all, they haven’t lost a single day in protesting against the prejudiced Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at Shaheen Bagh.

To some they might appear careless, to others 'brave', but the pertinent question is what was it that made the poor parents take to the streets and protest. They say, it was the absence of required papers. But, the point of the matter is why or how did such a situation came about. The answer to it lies in the following facts.

FACTS:

Is there not a clause in the Indian Constitution that deals with Citizenship?

Secondly, is there not a clause in the Indian Constitution that deals with granting of citizenship to foreign national or immigrants?

The answer to both questions are - YES

(For details READ - Part II of the Constitution of India [Articles 5 to 11])

So what was the need for CAA?

The answer lies in two words - Hindutva Agenda. Better put paving he way for a backdoor entry for those Hindus, who may have been left out from the NRC list. There!

Meanwhile, four-month old, Jahan, is being hailed as a Shaheed. Some news channels, however, have turned the incident into an agenda for debate. So much for the life lost.

I suppose the Bhakts were spared a ‘goli’ (bullet) here.

Those who still feel that CAA isn't meant for Indian Muslims, do note that National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR) definitely are.

If you want to find out how the three are connected watch the following video. It provides legal details or the '5 Ws & 1 H' of the three Acronyms.

Delhi elections: BJP & the hate-mongering ploy

Anti-CAA protesters at Shaheen Bagh. Photo courtesy: Karamvir Kamal

The BJP not only released the Election manifesto, but also an advertisement targeting the Delhi Elections. The ‘hate-filled advertisement’, yes that’s right it is a hate-filled advertisement as you would notice in this clip:

VIDEO (external link - HW news)

But, if you look deeper and try and put together the brief that the BJP must have given to the advertising agency before it went ahead and conceived such a hate-filled advertisement you would realize something important.

It is, like I had said earlier, a party of keywords and hashtags or better put “Jumla”.

The few jumle that have been used here are:

1.    Nikaalo
2.    Tukde-Tukde (from the tukde-tukde gang)
3.    Shaheen Bagh
4.    Deshdrohi (once again anti-national)
5.    Urban Naxal

The same words or ‘jumle’ have been thrown into the mix once again. Hence proved: BJP is a party of hashtags and keywords – essentially meaning they intend to latch on to the social media bandwagon and let the metadata or the algorithms on of World Wide Web do its magic. Clever, very clever.

But, then many election campaigns are based on keywords that appeal to the electorate. The point is - what type of keywords are you projecting. The above video shows the difference between progressive keywords and regressive keywords.

It's okay to use advertising agencies to cull out good advertising campaigns ahead of an election, but what matters most is the brief the client (in this case the BJP) has. Essentially speaking the BJP government is trying to polarise the electorate and God-forbid, if it comes to power in Delhi the Hindutva forces within the party might just do the unthinkable.

#MeToo... yes my watch seems to have stuck there.

And now sedation charge against school management

Bas ab ishi ki kami reh gayi thi.

The police are investigating a primary school for sedition over a student play which voiced opposition to Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Students aged nine and 10 at Shaheen school in Bidar, in Telengana, were interrogated by police for putting up a play that had a theme allegedly opposing the CAA.

Soulmate, Karma & the metadata

A thought!

Yeh soul, soulmate. Soul here, soul there... yeh kya hai, yeh sab? Then, sentences like, "his Karma comes back to haunt him". Known and reputed journalists have been using such terms. Some are even injecting errors into their otherwise clean copy.

What the f....k is happening?

I mean these terms were virtually non-existent before 2014. Some would point out that I used the word 'soulmate' (whatever it means) in my book.  But, not many are aware that I was tricked into it. How? Well that is another story, and there too a Bhakt was involved, as I have been told now. Literally speaking, mera ch......ya kat raha tha aur mujhe pata hi nahi chala. You may call it 'Love Jihad'.

Clearly, the Bhakts, the Modi-Shah’s fascist brigade with their all-encompassing IT Cell, are behind this mess. Like I said earlier, it's a government of keywords & hashtags.

Btw, Bhakts have been showing up in all forms these days. They are not just restricted to one religion. Watch out for terms like "Aap Musalman bhai hai", "Aap Allah ke bande hain", "hum apni Musalman behno ke liye kam karen ge (ref: Triple Talaq)", "Hindu Rashtra" so on and so forth.

Not everything should be painted in religious colours, & not everyone is gay, high time our leaders understand this.

Split Wide Open!

On December 15, Mohammad Tariq, a Ph.D. scholar at Aligarh Muslim University,
was near the Bab-e-Syed Gate, when the violence broke out.
Trying to avoid the commotion, he ran, but ended up tripping and
got hit by an incoming stun grenade. Photo courtesy: AMUSU

No, it's not an image of a wounded soldier, but the face of Police brutality on a student.

On that fateful evening of December 15, Mohammad Tariq, was injured when police sought to scatter the students by using stun grenade.

This is one of the countless pictures of such barbaric policing by the khaki brigade backed by the BJP's Hindutva ideology. They have left no stone unturned to cull the protests at Aligarh Muslim University, the Jawaharlal Nehru University, and the Jamia Millia Islamia.

These protests are an outcome of the BJP government's 'separatist' and divisive policies. From exorbitant fee hike to CAA, from #MeToo to the Triple Talaq, the Fascists government in India has taken it upon itself to not just divide India, but the entire world in any and every possible way that is available. And mind you they have been at their creative best.

A peek into their Hindutva sleeves:

1.    #MeToo - The movement should have been a platform for women's empowerment, but what did it become? It went down to - kill the MCP or get rid of the pseudo-feminist. And if that wasn't the end of it, the Hindutva brigade went a step further and divided the media and entertainment industry into - Bhakts & the Librandus.

2.    The great social divide - Homosexuality was given a clean chit and suddenly it became the in-thing. The trick was to divide the family - the core of society. Of course, the decision was taken by the Supreme Court, but we all know the who’s who and how’s how here.

3.    The extra-marital affair was de-criminalised - What did it achieve - another push towards breaking the family? And why not, when the PM can leave his wife in isolation, so can you.

4.    The Triple Talaq - A final push towards breaking the family structure. And this time with a target - The Muslim household. The dialogue was – “Hum apni musalman behno ki madad karna chahate hain”

5.    Chauvinism gained momentum - Sentences like ‘aap musalman bhai ho’, ‘aap Allah ke bande ho’, ‘musalman ko maro’, ‘ikno desh se nikalo’, ‘Hindu Rashtra banega’ became far too common. Nathuram Godse, the man who shot Mahatma Gandhi, suddenly became a national hero.

6.    The Ayodhya verdict - That was a clear and distinct method of alienating the Indian Muslims. And it has been there in the BJP manifesto since the time of the 1990 rath yatra. Not to forget it was the same year the Mandal Commission took place and we all know what it resulted in.

7.    Age-old class divide! And you thought that Bourgeoisie and Proletariat terminology existed during the 19th century! The sudden fee hike at prominent educational institutions like JNU, IITs, IIMs, AIMS can be called an attempt to bring about the class-divide. So are we expecting something on the lines of the French Revolution… only time will tell.

8.    The Caste divide! So, it comes back to haunt us. So much for Raja Ram Mohan Roy's efforts in the 18th century. Agitation by right-wing Fascists against a Muslim teacher’s right to teach Sanskrit at BHU is a step in that direction.

9.    If that wasn't enough, the CAA came about. Like the last nail in the coffin, it not just divided India, but the entire sub-continent on religious grounds. And it had a rippling effect, with protests taking place across the continent in Europe and the US. Not surprisingly pro-CAA rallies too are being staged.
